Manifest Your Desire

Setting the Goal
Goals are projections of consciousness based on a human’s free will. When we focus on a goal, our consciousness is sending out a thought form, a template, to which the Universe will respond and deliver.
But how does goal setting work – to manifest your desire? I’ve found setting a goal that I’m manifesting works out best for me if it’s in tune with my intuition, not my obsessive projections. That’s because the intuition comes from Spirit. And engaging Spirit is one third of the focus formula for arranging matter and energy to manifest thought. This must be aligned with conscious thought and action.
The difference is following what my intuition tells me is right for me. Not what I think is right for someone else, that is between that person and God; nor what someone else thinks is best for me…but rather what I intuitively feel in my heart is right for me.
Earnest Holmes describes five parts to a spiritual mind “treatment” for manifesting a goal. It’s basically a process of commanding the Universe to arrange itself around what you need and want. And I’ve found it works. It really works. It’s also the prayer process discussed in the Bible, and other religious teachings, the well-tested philosophy of Consciously Creating Circumstances, and many more such as the popular book and movie that Oprah Winfrey made famous, The Secret. Although you don’t have to be super formulaic about it, you can send the thought all at once if you have an advanced and trained mind…but all the parts have to be present in your spirit, mind, and body.
Manifestation Process: Science of Mind “Treatment”
Here it is, according to Holmes.
1. Acknowledge there is one Spirit and Universe. Feel the strength and powerful energy of Spirit and the Universe.
2. Connect to the Universe – you are a part of it. Feel yourself already a part of the Earth, connected to all Humanity, everything around you, the entire Universe, Spirit. Feel it physically, emotionally, spiritually, with your entire being. In my mind I usually merge this step seamlessly with the previous one, but it’s good to separate these in practice until you realize all the energy is not coming from you.
3. Identify and focus on the goal as if it already exists in the present. It’s not wishing for it. It’s not seeing yourself where you are now and the goal in the future, or off in the distance. That’s pushing it away from you. It’s BEING THERE, NOW. Feeling, tasting, smelling, touching, seeing yourself already experiencing it.
4. Express gratitude to the Universe and Spirit for responding to your goal. Part of this is for us so that we appreciate and respect what we have at our disposal; part of it is common courtesy (a universal protocol) to Spirit and souls who are helping us on the other side of the veil.
5. Completely release your request, turn the baton over, to the Universe, knowing it will be done for you. This means you must trust to let go of it. Don’t think about it again, don’t repeat it, and don’t question it. Trust it will be done.
What shall we manifest?
It’s sad that there is such an adamant disconnect between science and religion. An open mind is much needed but sorely absent. As research drivers, science could use not just experimental anomalies and research funding sources du jour, but also religious teachings and practices related to unanswered scientific questions, for clues on where to search next for answers. Personally I believe it would lead faster to new discoveries. Religions could use science and other religions to validate their own beliefs, and seek common ground in God, perhaps even recognize that God also created science – and perhaps is the Greatest Scientist of all.
If only we were not so attached to “my way is the only way.” Wow, just imagine. Talking to each other. Seeking common ground instead of fences. Not necessarily agreement, but talking about common issues. Respecting others’ differing viewpoints. None of us can see the whole elephant. It’s our collective view that is accurate.
Just think. Extend that idea to any two discordant groups. Traditionally conflicting religions could join together against common enemies. That might eventually even bring Peace on Earth. Now there’s something worth manifesting. If we’d just stop fighting with each other, we could start solving common human problems – like clean water, healthy food, clean air, good health, trading to balance uneven resources, governments that actually were concerned about addressing their country’s needs. There’s enough problems out there on our planet without us fighting with each other. It’s completely possible. It’s all about our thought choices.
The boundaries of science and religion meet in potentials of human consciousness. Human development would leap light years forward if we would allow the twain to meet.
What are you creating in your life with your thoughts?
