Hiya Folks!

Hiya Folks! I’m Mary G. Holland, sort of retired, and living with my husband in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York State – near Canada. I love to develop new ideas, design, make things, cook fine food, create art in many mediums, research, analyze and distill valuable information into concentrated “cheat sheets”, solve problems, make processes more efficient (or not) and much more. Lately I’ve also been also teaching and writing. I’m constantly learning new skills.
After much encouragement from my friends, I’m developing this site to share some of my projects, skills, lessons learned, recipes, and musings I’ve accumulated over the years, with anyone who cares to read. I’ve tried to credit the sources where it’s not original, but in some cases, I don’t have the source, so am just passing along what I’ve learned.
You’re welcome to comment if you first create an account.
Constructive criticism is fine, I just ask that you don’t spam, hack, self-promote, steal stuff, share without crediting this source, or engage in any other offensive or antisocial behavior on this site. If you do, you’ll be blocked and the offensive content removed.
Thanks, and please read and enjoy!
Hello Mary!
I absolutely love your blog ~ forwarded to me by Freda Glade. I appreciated your very well written/done summary of the last Beacon of Light/Carroll
Your Balance Peace Wisdom etc., article was me looking in the mirror at myself!
How lovely to know someone else ‘just like me!’ is here! Thanks – I can’t stop smiling!!!
You have wonderful insights and such a lovely and clear way of writing with light positive flair!
These two articles really stood out for me, but I loved the rest also and have signed up for your blog.
Thank you so much Mary ~ you are the change
Lovingly, Amber Austin
Thanks for your wonderful comments Amber! Freda says you are starting up a blog…if you do, let me know!
